Draft wording, pending legal review. Send the final copy and it will be dropped straight in.
ProLocum is a marketplace. Hospitals post locum shifts and permanent vacancies, and verified doctors and nurses apply for them. ProLocum is not the employer of any staff member and is not the provider of any clinical service.
You must be at least 18 and hold a valid registration with the relevant council for your qualification. Every account is checked against the documents you upload before it can apply for or post work.
One account per person or facility. Keep your password and any one-time codes to yourself — activity on your account is treated as yours. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
Documents are reviewed before an account is approved. Until then you can complete your profile but cannot apply for or post work. An account may be suspended if a document is found to be false or has expired.
A shift is confirmed when the hospital accepts your application. You must attend the shift you accepted, on time, carrying photo identification.
You may withdraw up to 4 hours before the shift starts. After that the shift is treated as attended for the purposes of your record, and repeated late withdrawals may lead to suspension.
A hospital may cancel an acceptance within 10 minutes of making it. A posted shift may be edited within 15 minutes of posting; a shift marked urgent cannot be edited.
The pay shown on a shift is what the hospital has committed to. Once a shift is marked completed, the amount is credited to your ProLocum wallet, from where it can be settled to your bank account. ProLocum does not decide or guarantee the rate a hospital offers.
Some features depend on an active plan. A plan runs for the number of days shown when you buy it and covers the limits listed against it. Payments are handled by our payment partner; ProLocum does not store your card details.
Do not upload documents that are not yours, hold more than one account, take a shift you are not qualified for, or accept two shifts that run at the same time. Any of these may lead to suspension.
ProLocum introduces hospitals and staff to each other. It is not responsible for the conduct of either side, for clinical decisions taken during a shift, or for any employment relationship that follows from a permanent vacancy.
These terms may change; the date above shows when they last did, and continued use of the app means you accept the current version. Questions go to support@prolocum.in.
