About ProLocum

ProLocum is the bridge to uninterrupted care. Hospitals and clinics post the duties they need covered — a single night shift, a week of cover, or a permanent vacancy — and verified doctors and nurses nearby pick them up.

Every account is checked against its documents before it can post or apply, so both sides know who they are dealing with.

For hospitals. Post a shift with the ward, the hours and the pay. Eligible staff in your city see it immediately, and an urgent post is pushed to everyone who qualifies. Review who applied, accept one, keep a standby, and settle the pay from your wallet when the duty is done.

For doctors and nurses. You only ever see shifts your qualification is eligible for. Apply, get accepted, show your arrival code at the hospital, and the pay lands in your wallet once the shift is marked complete.

• A posted shift can be corrected for 15 minutes. An urgent one cannot be edited at all — staff are already being pushed at it.
• Staff can withdraw up to 4 hours before duty, so the hospital still has time to call in the standby.
• Once someone is onboard, the shift cannot be deleted. Somebody has arranged their day around it.
• Accounts are reviewed within 24 hours of documents being submitted.
